Evolution Gateway (SAE-GW)
The System Architecture Evolution Gateway (SAE-GW) is designed to simplify and improve mobile networks. The SAE-GW is a combination of the Serving Gateway which is responsible for routing and forwarding of user data packet and the PDN Gateway which is the connecting node between UEs and external networks.

Data Gateway (ePDG)
Connections paths, particularly from Wi-Fi, are all around us. Securing those paths and integrating them to the cellular network experience is crucial. The Evolved Packet Data Gateway (ePDG) is a virtualized solution providing carrier-grade support of features like Wi-Fi Calling without the risks.
Software Based and Virtualized
Running on standard off the shelf servers, the software based ePDG can be flexibly deployed inside the network on bare metal, as a virtual machine or container.
